We finally finished our first project! It's a tea towel done in a Swedish Lace weave, using a mercerized Light Aqua, 10/2 cotton yarn (manufacturer unknown) at 20 ends per inch. The stripe is also 10/2 mercerized cotton, color 327 from Silk City (call it a dark forest green maybe). It was supposed to be 20"x22"(?) but actually ended up being 19"x19" (excluding fringe).
We never have been ones for starting out with the simple thing and working our way up. Just jump right in with both feet! :-)

This first shot is of the towel almost ready to come off the loom

It's a bit out of focus, and a touch on the dark side, but it still gives a closer look at the lace pattern.

The dark green is a bit more prominent on the "back" side. The only thing left to do is cut the fringe to length.
