Call to Action

Anywhere you go, beauty can be found and likewise, ugliness. I'm going to try in these pages to mostly concentrate on the former, but every once in a while, I'll slip in a reality check. Reservations I've seen have to be some of the most littered places on earth. That's not really the image I want to convey here, but neither is it a reality I want to ignore.

To the mechanics of this site:
When you click on a day to view, a new browser will open up (unless you're using Arachne). Then when you're ready to go back to the index page, you don't need to back-arrow and reload another ad. Just close the browser that's showing the "day" page, and the index will still be there in the initial browser... saves having to keep reloading the index page. :-)

In the outage section to the right, only power outages long enough to zero the clocks are recorded. That means many "flickers" severe enough to reboot the computer aren't counted.

We often have a situation where the phones still work, but the circuits to certain exchanges (like the one where the ISP is located) are busy, and we get a recording, "We're sorry. All circuits are busy now. Won't you please try your call again later?" Since that's only a partial outage, I don't keep track.
